San Miguel Wanderers R.F.C.

San Miguel Wanderer's Rugby Football Club was formed in 1995 and since then has developed into one of Singapore's leading sporting and social networks. Founded by a select band of gentlemen rugby players, the club has grown substantially over the past 14 years but has remained true to
its roots as a place where everyone is welcome regardless of age, gender, race or religion.

We currently run three senior teams and one academy team, competing in Singapore's Guinness Leagues. We can boast some considerable success in the local rugby scene during our short history. Most recently, the Premiership team won the Guinness Premiership competition during the 2008/9 season and the U-20 side won their annual competition in August 2009.

During the off-season, we take advantage of Singapore's location to tour around the region, and in the past year have visited Sydney to compete
in the Bondi 10s and Jakarta to play against ISCI. This year over fifty tourists made their way to Phuket for the Phuket 10s. Closer to home, we
play against visiting Navy ships and other teams keen for a game on their way through Singapore, and participate in the Blacks Midnight 10s
tournament as part of our pre-season preparations.

We have succeeded in attracting like-minded people who like to enjoy rugby competitively on the field but also the social side of the game
off the field. To round things off we have always had a band of loyal social members, who whilst not active on the field of play, still enjoy
the social side of the club.

If you want to meet new friends or if you're just arriving in Singapore and looking for a club to play for or to follow, please get in touch.
